ANDRESGALLARDO is a new, creative approach to contemporary jewelry.
In the short yet intense career of ANDRESGALLARDO as an established brand, two theme-oriented collections have been developed:

BROKENPORCELAIN

Inspired by elements of flora and fauna, this collection combines metal, leather and crystal fragments with porcelain figures that have been reworked and set into whimsical, nature-based jewellery pieces. Porcelain figures are broken and repolished by hand and then assembled into subjective and sometimes surrealistic compositions.

TRIBE

A less explored collection, Tribe is based on hand- stitched vintage ribbons which are connected using metal and leather trimmings which result in a juxtaposition of geometric shapes and organic patterns of vibrant colors.

Designer Andrés Gallardo studied fashion design in Madrid. While working for several Spanish-based fashion companies, he began to create one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces for friends, local stores and special orders. In 2010 ANDRESGALLARDO pieces started selling at Love Dispensary, one of Spain's most important fashion and contemporary jewellery stores. As the project expanded, Andrés teamed up with his friend Marina Casal, Madrid-based graphic and textile designer, and launched his namesake brand.

Press and online media have supported the brand since the beggining. ANDRESGALLARDO pieces have received coverage in national magazines such as Vogue, El País, Vanidad, Glamour among others, as well as international blogs and online media.

Andrés Gallardo has no formal jewellery training. His personal world of wild animals and out-of-context materials take shape intuitively, handcrafting every piece thru improvisation and meticulousness.
